LangBot is a Chrome extension that provides language learning tools directly inside 𝕏. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and protect your information when you use the extension. By installing and using LangBot, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

LangBot uses only the minimal data necessary for its core functionality:

• Data Processed: When a user posts in their target language on 𝕏, LangBot processes the text of the post to generate insights and feedback. The text of the post, along with the feedback generated is stored in order to present it to the user.
• No Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable Informationion (PII) such as your name, IP address, or browsing history.
• Analytics: LangBot uses no analyitcs or telemetry of any kind.
• Local Storage: The extension stores an anonymous token in local storage to persist your session across browser sessions.

How We Use Your Information

All data processed by LangBot is used solely to provide language learning features within LangBot only.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, nor is it shared with any third party.

Data Security

We implement security measures to protect any temporary data processed by the extension, including encryption during transmission.

Your Choices and Rights

• Uninstallation: Once installed, LangBot is managed by Chrome and can be uninstalled by the user at any time.
• Deletion: Users can delete all their account data from within LangBot’s settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy occasionally. Changes will be posted here with an updated date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
